I strongly dislike commercials. Most of the ads are annoying and repetitive and they have a stupid message, coupled with a lack of creativity. From the buzz of Geico’s “15% or more” to the noise of McDonald’s creepiness, crappy commercials are all over the Internet, TV, and radio.
In attempts to catch attention, some brands make a decision to craft powerful content with strong messages that are worth a listen. Below is my list of top 3 commercials that make the world a better place.
Heineken – Worlds Apart
I do not know the geniuses behind the production of this commercial. They are surely some kind of mad psychologists (in a good way). Four minutes of watching this commercial are capable of turning a hard-core conservative into a more open-minded liberal. And why not support a brand that is aimed at making people more empathetic and sympathetic?
Thai Life Insurance
This commercial is one of the most touching pieces of work. This video touched my feelings. Maybe the message behind the commercial video is a little too powerful for an insurance company. Anyway, I wish there were more commercials like this.
Life Vest Inside
This “Help Each Other Commercial” is quite banal, but well-shot and certainly touching. It reminds me of the basic laws of physics. For any action, there is opposition (a.k.a. Karma is a bitch). There were many times when I helped people in many different ways, and later I received help from some other individuals. It always worked this way for me.
