The fresh new area has the biggest name in hip-hop to back it up and has quickly become the number 1 venue in NYC. Move over Madison Square Garden. The famed 40/40 club has made it’s way to Brooklyn and is using the Barclays as it’s home. The bar/lounge franchise offers up cool drinks, tasty food, and a relaxed environment to get your party on. It doesn’t get more New York than Jay-Z and awesome parties.

2. BARCLAYS CENTER IS ACCESSIBLE TO NYC

Some people are stuck in Manhattan and never make the effort to venture to the other boroughs. Fortunately, the accessibility of Barclays is outstanding. Nearly every major subway line goes there. There’s the 2, the Q, the 5 and the LIRR. Furthermore, when big shows are in town, driving is a hassle. The fact that public transit is so easy to Barclays is a definite bonus.
